In the match, Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bat first, scoring 151 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 10 overs. In reply, Bangladesh chased down the target, scoring 153 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 18.4 overs, securing the victory and a series lead.

Afghanistan's Innings

Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first. In the allotted 10-over game, the Afghanistan team managed to score 151 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. The team had a very poor start, with the first four wickets falling for just 40 runs. However, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mohammad Nabi tried to stabilize the score.

Gurbaz scored 40 runs off 31 balls, while Nabi played an innings of 38 runs, helping the team reach a total of 151. Apart from these two, other batsmen could not make significant contributions, and Afghanistan's score remained limited within the allotted overs. Bangladesh's bowling effectively contained Afghanistan's batting. Tanzim Hasan, Shakib Al Hasan, and Rishad Hossain each took 2 wickets. Additionally, Fareed Ahmad Malik and Noor Ahmad took one wicket each. However, other bowlers could not perform as expected, due to which Afghanistan failed to defend its score.
