Indian Army Chief General Dwivedi Warns Pakistan: Cease Terrorism or

Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has issued a stern warning to Pakistan that if it does not stop supporting terrorism, India will no longer show restraint and will respond immediately to any provocation.

New Delhi: Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, while addressing troops deployed on the border in Anupgarh, Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan on October 3, 2025 (Friday), delivered a b message to Pakistan, stating that if Pakistan does not cease state-sponsored terrorism, it "might be erased from the world map." He declared that India would no longer adopt its previous policy of restraint and would respond immediately and decisively to any provocation; simultaneously, he ordered the troops to remain vigilant and prepared.

Major Action in Operation Sindoor

General Dwivedi revealed that during Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army destroyed 9 terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan. These hideouts included terrorist training camps, weapon supply networks, and masterminds. He stated that more than 100 Pakistani soldiers and a large number of terrorists were killed in this action.

The Army Chief emphasized that precision and caution were maintained during the operation to ensure no harm came to civilians. He stated, "India targeted only terrorists and their masterminds. No civilian sustained any damage."

Vigilance and Technological Advancement at the Border

General Dwivedi urged the soldiers to remain vigilant and ready at all times. He said, "Keep your preparations complete... if God wills, an opportunity will soon arise." He emphasized the modernization and technological advancement of the Indian Army, stating that the army is rapidly adopting cutting-edge technology, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Systems), and anti-drone capabilities. The objective is to face future potential challenges and enhance border security. On this occasion, the Army Chief honored three brave soldiers for their outstanding contribution to Operation Sindoor.

Furthermore, he visited Bikaner Military Station and other forward areas and met with people from villages adjacent to the border. He said, "You are not ordinary citizens, but soldiers who are equal partners in the security of the nation."

Stern Warning to Pakistan

General Dwivedi clarified that if Pakistan does not stop supporting terrorism and continues provocations at the border, it will face serious consequences. He stated that India would no longer adopt its previous policy of restraint and would respond immediately to any provocation. Experts believe that this statement reflects India's new strategic firm stance, which prioritizes precise military action and technological superiority.

Operation Sindoor was launched on April 22 following the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The objective of this operation was to dismantle terrorist bholds on both sides of the border and ensure military and civilian security. Under the operation, the Indian Army attacked terrorist networks located in Pakistan, eliminating several masterminds.
