Gorakhpur: On Thursday, 19-year-old Sunny Kumar died and his cousin Sagar Chauhan was seriously injured when a house balcony collapsed in the Saptahiya Tola of Vishunpur village. Sunny and Sagar were sitting on the steps of the house when the balcony suddenly broke and fell on them. With the help of villagers, both were taken to the hospital, where Sunny was declared dead, and Sagar's treatment is ongoing. Sunny was the only brother to his four sisters, creating an atmosphere of immense grief in the family.
Details of the Incident
The incident occurred around 11 AM. Sunny Kumar and his cousin Sagar Chauhan were sitting on the steps of the house. Suddenly, the house balcony broke and fell on them. Following this, family members and neighbors rushed to the scene and pulled both of them out from under the debris. Both were immediately rushed to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Hospital in Balapar.
At the hospital, doctors declared Sunny Kumar dead. Meanwhile, Sagar Chauhan is undergoing treatment at BRD Medical College. He sustained injuries to several parts of his body, and his leg was also fractured.

Sunny Kumar was the only brother to his four sisters in the family. Among his siblings, he was the third oldest. His father, Jagdish Chauhan, works as a laborer at Nakaha station and supports the family. Sunny's death has brought immense sorrow upon the entire family.
