After losing the first set tie-breaker, Pegula picked up tremendous momentum in the second set, winning four consecutive games and pushing Navarro onto the back foot. In the third set, she took complete control, losing only one game to secure her spot in the semifinals.

After the win, Jessica Pegula stated, "I told myself not to get frustrated, just stay calm. I tried to relax and trusted my game plan. This helped me play freely and gain control of the points." Pegula's next opponent will be the young Czech Republic player Linda Noskova. At just 20 years old, Noskova delivered a stellar performance, defeating Great Britain's Sonay Kartal 6-3, 6-4, and securing her place in the semifinals. This marks Noskova's biggest moment yet, reaching the semifinals of a WTA 1000 tournament. She has been consistently improving this season, and her aggressive baseline game has impressed everyone.
