Tirumala Tirupati Temple: The annual Brahmotsavam of the Tirumala Tirupati Temple (Tirumala Tirupati Temple) in Andhra Pradesh once again became a symbol of immense faith and devotion for devotees, just like every year. Millions of devotees attended this grand nine-day spiritual festival and had darshan of Lord Venkateswara (Lord Venkateswara). According to B.R. Naidu, Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), devotees offered ₹25.12 crore in the Hundi (– donation box) by October 1. This amount is a clear indication of the deep faith of devotees and the prestige of the temple.
5.8 Lakh Devotees Flocked for Srivaru's Darshan
During the Brahmotsavam, the temple witnessed a surge in devotees. B.R. Naidu stated that by October 1, over 5.8 lakh devotees had darshan of Srivaru (Lord Venkateswara). During a press conference held at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala, he mentioned that this number is consistently increasing every year, serving as proof of the temple's growing popularity.
Distribution of Annaprasadam and Laddus
This year, extensive arrangements were made for Annaprasadam (Annadanam – sacred food) during the Brahmotsavam. The temple administration reported that approximately 26 lakh devotees were served Annaprasadam over eight days. Additionally, more than 28 lakh Laddus (Laddu – sacred sweet) were distributed. These Laddus are considered an identity of the Tirupati Temple, and devotees accept them as Prasadam with great reverence.
2.4 Lakh Devotees Participated in the Hair Offering Tradition
Another significant tradition during Brahmotsavam is Kesha Khandanam (Hair Offering). In this, devotees offer their hair to the Lord. This time, approximately 2.4 lakh devotees performed the ritual of Kesha Khandanam. This tradition demonstrates the devotion and dedication (devotion) of the devotees, and millions participate in it every year.
60 Tons of Flowers Used for Decoration
The temple administration undertook special decorations to make the Brahmotsavam even more attractive and grand. B.R. Naidu informed that 60 tons of flowers were used for decoration this time. Additionally, four lakh cut flowers and 90,000 seasonal flowers were also included in the decorations. This adorned the entire premises with colorful flowers, providing devotees with a divine experience.
Approximately 7 Thousand Artists Participated in Cultural Performances
The Brahmotsavam was not only religiously significant but also culturally (cultural) very special. This time, 6,976 artists from 298 troupes across 28 states presented their performances. Dance, music, and traditional presentations not only mesmerized the devotees but also showcased the diversity and unity of Indian culture (Indian culture).

The amount collected in the Hundi, meaning donation box (donation box), is a symbol of the Tirupati Temple's faith and prosperity. The offering of ₹25.12 crore indicates the profound depth of devotees' faith. This amount is utilized for the religious and social activities of the temple.
