Tamil and Telugu film actress Dimple Hayathi has found herself in serious trouble. Hyderabad police have registered a case against the actress and her husband, David. The couple's domestic worker had filed a complaint, accusing them of harassment, assault, and abuse.

Hyderabad police have registered a case against them based on allegations of torture and abuse. The complaint was filed by their domestic worker, Priyanka Beebar. Priyanka Beebar, 22, a resident of Odisha, alleged that Dimple and her husband constantly humiliated her. The domestic worker claims she was not provided proper food, subjected to verbal abuse, and suffered insulting remarks.
Domestic Worker Levels Serious Allegations
According to the domestic worker, Dimple and her husband told her, "Your life isn't even worth my shoes." The dispute escalated on September 29. Priyanka attempted to record the altercation, but David snatched her phone, broke it, and tried to physically assault her.
Furthermore, the domestic worker claimed that her clothes were torn during the scuffle, and an attempt was made to record a nude video of her. The situation became so severe that Priyanka, with the help of her agent, went to the police, filed a complaint, and ensured her safety. Based on the complaint filed at Film Nagar Police Station, a case has been registered against Dimple Hayathi and her husband under sections 74, 79, 351(2), and 324(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Currently, no statement has been issued by Dimple or her husband regarding this matter.
Who is Dimple Hayathi?
Dimple Hayathi has worked in Telugu and Tamil films in the South Indian industry. Her acting debut was in 2017 with the Telugu film 'Gulf'. Subsequently, she also played a role in Aanand L. Rai's 'Atrangi Re', where she portrayed Mandakini, Dhanush's ex-fiancée. Additionally, Dimple Hayathi has worked in films like 'Devi 2', 'Khiladi', 'Eureka', 'Rama Banam', and 'Veeramae Vaagai Soodum'.
Dimple has been involved in controversies before. In 2023, an FIR was registered against her and her husband David for allegedly ramming their car into an IPS officer's vehicle. At that time, Dimple alleged that the officer had misused his authority. Conversely, the IPS officer stated that his vehicle was parked outside his house, and Dimple herself had hit it.
