Mathura / Uttar Pradesh — The Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad has proposed the construction of a massive "Kanha Rasoi" (Kanha Kitchen) near the Nandbaba Temple in Nandgaon, which will provide free meals to approximately 10,000 devotees daily. The estimated cost of this project will be two crore rupees and it will be developed over an area of about one hectare.

Construction Site and Facilities

This kitchen will be built near the Nandbaba Temple and will include a dining hall, a storehouse, toilets, and a drinking water system. A boundary wall will be constructed all around to ensure the system is organized and secure.

Meal Scope

According to the proposed plan, approximately 10,000 devotees will be provided free meals daily.

Number of Devotees

In the year 2024, approximately 42.20 lakh devotees visited Nandgaon, including 2,262 foreign pilgrims.

Status and Administrative Initiative

S.B. Singh, CEO of Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad, stated that the proposal has been prepared and will soon seek approval from the state government. Furthermore, discussions are ongoing with several organizations related to the project for collaboration.
