Later, in the last week of November, he will again arrive in Raipur to address the closing session of the DGP-IGP conference. Government's Response to Naxalite Proposal
Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently rejected the ceasefire proposed by Maoists. He clearly stated that if any extremist wishes to surrender and lay down arms, they are welcome, but there will be no conditions for a formal ceasefire. The Home Minister added that security force operations would continue, and those who surrender would be dealt with according to the law.
