Ashok Gehlot Expresses Personal Anguish

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot tweeted, stating, "The demise of former Leader of Opposition and MP from Bikaner, Rameshwar Dudi, is extremely saddening. His passing at such a young age, after being ill for nearly 2 years, will always be deeply felt. This is personally a shock to me. Rameshwar Dudi fulfilled every role he undertook commendably.

Gehlot further stated that Dudi always worked for the farming community and had a long conversation with Gehlot just a few days before he suffered the stroke. Ashok Gehlot prayed for the peace of the departed soul and strength for his family.

Rameshwar Dudi's Political Journey

Rameshwar Dudi was born in Biramsar village, Nokha, Bikaner district. His political career began as the Pradhan (Chief) of the Nokha Panchayat Samiti. Subsequently, he served twice as Zila Pramukh (District Head), once as a Member of Parliament (MP), and once as a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA). After being elected as MLA from Nokha, he also assumed the responsibility of Leader of Opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.

Dudi was regarded as a b and reliable leader within the Congress organization. He maintained deep connections at both state and central levels. In his region, he was popularly known as 'Saheb'. Among the public, he was known for his simplicity and fighting spirit. His leadership and organizational skills were always crucial for the Rajasthan Congress.
