Sports News: Following successive defeats against India in the Asia Cup 2025, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its squad for the upcoming Test series. Pakistan has included 18 players in the team, led by captain Shan Masood, and featuring Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Additionally, three new uncapped players have earned a spot in the squad.

Pakistan has announced an 18-member squad for the two-match Test series against South Africa. This series will be part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 and will commence on October 12 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The squad will be further trimmed before the first Test. Three uncapped players have been included in the team: Asif Afridi, Faisal Akbar, and Rohail Nazir. Shan Masood has been retained as the captain of the team.
The presence of experienced players like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan strengthens the team, while the inclusion of new players will provide opportunities for young talent.
