During the Navratri Garba festival in Kashi Gaon, Thane, a person named Mohsin Khan threw eggs from the 16th floor. Citizens were enraged, police registered a case, and additional forces were deployed for security.

Thane: In Thane district, Maharashtra, an individual's actions during the Navratri Garba festival ignited a furious atmosphere. On Tuesday night, Mohsin Khan, a resident of Estella Building in Kashi Gaon area, Mira Road East, threw an egg at the festival. This incident sparked outrage among citizens, prompting police to immediately register a case and initiate an investigation.

Accused Complained Before Throwing Egg

According to sources, Mohsin Khan was disturbed by the noise from the festival. He had previously complained to the police, requesting the event be stopped. Furthermore, he visited the festival site under the pretext of measuring decibel levels and recorded a video on his mobile phone.

Later, the accused allegedly threw an egg at the festival. Police officials stated that the egg-throwing incident occurred between approximately 10:30 PM and 11 PM. This caused chaos at the festival site, and people gathered at the police station in protest.

Citizens' Anger and Police Response

Immediately after the incident, a broken egg was found near two female police officers. Witnessing this, outrage spread among citizens, and a large number of people arrived at Kashi Gaon police station. Citizens demanded strict action against the accused.

To maintain control of the situation, police deployed additional forces within the society premises and surrounding areas. Local police stated that the incident is serious, and full vigilance is being exercised.

FIR Registered Against Mohsin Khan

Kashimira police have registered an FIR against Mohsin Khan in this matter under Section 300 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Officials are also stating that the accused's mental state and the reasons behind the incident are being investigated.

Police stated that CCTV footage from the festival site and statements from nearby residents are being recorded. This will help determine whether the incident was premeditated or spontaneous.

Local Citizens and Organizers Concerned by Incident

Local festival organizers and citizens are deeply concerned by this incident. They stated that such acts in religious and cultural festivals spoil the atmosphere. Organizers emphasize that everyone should participate in festivals like Navratri in a safe and peaceful environment.

Police officials have also appealed to the public to remain calm and cooperate with the investigation. All questions will only be resolved after legal action is taken against the accused.
