New Delhi: An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death in Delhi's Gokulpuri area. Two minor boys have been accused in this crime and have been arrested by the police. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the reason behind the murder. According to the police, both had old enmity with the deceased.
During the investigation, blood-stained clothes and a knife were recovered based on the accused's disclosure. The police stated that a case has been registered under sections 103(1)/3(5) BNS and 25/27 of the Arms Act.
Incident Near Scrap Warehouse in Gokulpuri
The incident occurred on Thursday morning at 4:54 AM. Upon receiving information at Gokulpuri police station, a police team reached the crime scene at Gali No. 6, Bhagirathi Vihar. The deceased was approximately 18 years old and worked as a laborer in a scrap warehouse. After the attack, his brother took him to GTB Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Local residents and neighbors reported that the incident had spread silence and fear in the area. The police have intensified their investigation by collecting CCTV footage from the vicinity and other clues.
Minor Accused Confess to Crime
The police stated that after their arrest, both minors confessed to their crime. They revealed that old enmity and personal disputes with the deceased were the main reasons for the murder. Based on the accused's disclosure, the murder weapon and blood-stained clothes were recovered.
