Singapore: The case surrounding the death of renowned Assamese singer Zubeen Garg continues to deepen in mystery. The investigation into his death under suspicious circumstances in Singapore has now taken a new turn. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Assam Police has made two more arrests in this case. On Thursday, police arrested Zubeen Garg's musician, Shakharjyoti Goswami, and female singer, Amritprabha Mahanta. Both were present with Zubeen Garg on his Singapore tour at the time.

Why Were They Arrested?

According to police officials, both were close to Zubeen Garg during the incident, and some crucial evidence against them has emerged during the investigation. Officials stated that they were previously called for questioning, but their arrest became necessary due to the need for a thorough investigation. Earlier, Zubeen Garg's manager, Siddharth Sharma, and festival organizer, Shyamkanu Mahanta, had also been arrested in this case. Thus, a total of four arrests have been made so far.
